The optimal or best time to have or consider a facelift is when you view yourself in a mirror and see a face that no longer fits well with your energy level or how you view yourself.

ABOUT VOLUMA

Voluma is a Hyaluronic acid similar to that found in the skin.  The results are quite amazing, as your face is restored to that of a youthful and refreshed you. The object is to maintain your facial characteristics and personal identity.

As we all age the face loses volume composed of loss of the underlying fat, muscle and bone.  This loss of facial volume leaves the face hollow, concave and sunken with folds of skin hanging over the sides of the mouth.  The deep hollows below the eyes are attributable to this loss of volume, too.

Using a combination of products, including Voluma, the hollows and depressions are lifted. The cheek mounds are elevated along with the depressions under the eyes, which are also smoothed, and the folds of overhanging skin near the mouth are re-supported.  The sculpting of Voluma is crucial for excellent and natural results.  Having a critical eye and artistic bent is important when injecting Voluma. A natural appearance is the key to having a rejuvenated appearance.

Adults and children that present with protruding ears that may also have lost many of the curves and contours can benefit from an Otoplasty.

Objective:

Reshape and sculpt irregularities of the nose, balancing the facial appearance. This may include the correction of a breathing obstruction.

The nose must be in balance with the other facial features.  Attractive individuals have features that blend together in a lovely and harmonious way.  The nose, like all features of the face, has two distinct sides.  The right is very different from the left.  Dr. Rosenthal’s artistic eye will discern what areas of the nose require his surgical expertise.

Once you are asleep, Dr. Rosenthal will ensure that you feel no discomfort by placing long acting medications into the area to be operated upon.  Through a small inverted V along the base of the nose, Dr. Rosenthal will meticulously sculpt the uneven segments of the bone and cartilage to miraculously fashion a nose that perfectly fits your face. Each nose is sculpted to match the face.  Like a snowflake each nose is unique.

A splint, worn for about 7 days, will be placed upon the nose for protection.  No packing inside the nose is usually necessary.  Only a small pad beneath the nose to catch any dripping is positioned. This is worn for 2-3 days.
