Are Radiesse And Restylane Very Different?

savRadiesse is a calcium based product in a gel that lifts and restores volume. Often, the nasolabial folds are secondary to flat cheeks. The cheeks hold up the face, so when there is no support the skin sags.

First ,I fill the cheeks with Radiesse. Radiesse can also be placed in the upper nasolabial fold next to the nose. The remainder of the fold, if it still is very visible, can then be softened with Restylane, a hyaluronic acid product. I prefer Juvederm for this area.

The art is knowing where each product works best and injecting it in a manner that produces a natural and rejuvenated appearance.
