How Long To Recover From Rhinoplasty?

Posted on: No Comments

Q: How much time will I need to take off from work to recover from a rhinoplasty?

A: Usually, there is an external splint on top of the nose for about 7 days.

If the rhinoplasty is “open” and a cut is placed on the bottom of the nose then those threads require removal. After the removal of the splint and threads the nose will appear swollen and you may have bruising under the eyes.

Makeup can be used under the eyes but best to not use makeup for a few days after the splint is removed. Hence, you will require at least 7-10 of being out of work.
